The Victim's
Assistance Program (VAP) of Family Counseling Services
of Athens is designed to provide prompt intervention
with a family when a child has experienced abuse or
domestic violence, to minimize the negative effects
of that abuse.

is a listing of some of those that we offer. Please be aware

Programs & Groups
Alcohol - Drug Issues
- Assessment, counseling, and other related
services. Anger - Violence Issues
- Assessment, counseling, and other related
services. Children & Divorce:
Divorce Education -The
goal of this program is to assist parents in understanding
the impact of divorce on children, reduce potential
conflicts and offer practical solutions to future problems. Drug Court Services
- is a 5-phase program
for repeat DUI and other Alcohol/Drug related offenses. Employee Assistance
Program: Northeast Georgia
EAP offers assistance to contracted companies and agencies
to address workplace concerns, including alcohol and
drug use, workplace violence and behavioral health needs.
Prime for Life -
intended to help participants examine their
relationships with alcohol and/or drugs and understand
the risks involved with the goal of reducing or eliminating
those risks. Sexual Offender Services
- assessment and group therapy.
Student
Assistance Program - aims
to help students develop healthy coping skills, make
positive lifestyle choices, and avoid substance abuse
problems. Victim's Assistance Program -
designed to provide prompt intervention
with a family when a child has experienced abuse or
domestic violence, to minimize the negative effects
of that abuse.
